It's another Friday, and I did remember that I wanted to do a Flashback Friday series with some of my older content, so here we are. For this Flashback Friday, my book club decided to attempt to tackle The Confessions by St. Augustine. Widely considered the first modern autobiography, this book was written as a letter to God by Augustine sometime after his conversion to Christianity and details his life, where he fell short, and how he improved. Written in the 300s, you might think there is very little to offer us modern folk here in the 2020s, but you'd be mistaken. Human nature doesn't change, and the wisdom of the past can often be applied to today. So, without further ado, The Confessions by St. Augustine
